Blakewell farm shop sells the best fish, meat and vegetables your hard erned money can buy. Our Rainbow Trout can be purchased freshly caught or oak smoked and prepared to various cuts. You can choose from a selection of local sauses and jams, biscuits and cheese, milk and eggs. We sell a large selection of Westgate Angus meats and local seasonal vegetables.
Pop down and see us and have a look, or ring us on 01271 344533 to place an order. This gives us the opportunity to discuss the details – e.g. Veg boxes, thickness of steaks, fresh caught, kilos or pounds, sometimes even inches!. The shop is open everyday from 9am to 5pm. Mail order is available.

Westgate Meat
Westgate Angus top quality beef, produced from traditional Aberdeen Angus cattle, and matured for a minimum of three weeks on the bone is produced a mile up the road in the village of Muddiford in North Devon. The meat produced is succulent, tender, full of flavour, and is fully traceable. The beef comes in a wide variety of cuts, from steak mince through to your Sunday joint. We also sell local, very succulent lamb and pork joints, sausages, free range chickens, duck breast, meat balls, black pudding, liver, kidneys. Fresh Smoked Trout
We sell our own oak smoked trout. These can be purchased from the shop or we will send you your smoked trout via mail order. The trout are smoked in two methods; cold smoking, and hot smoking. We then sell the smoked trout in various cuts – filleted, sliced or as a pate. Choose from a selection of accompanying sauces and pickles. May I remind you our Rainbow Trout are reared here on the farm from small fingerlings up to the required size, you are most welcombe to come and see for yourself, it’s a very interesting and educational visit.

Vegetables & Dairy
We sell a large variety of local seasonal vegetables straight out of the ground and off the trees, and all the dairy products you need. We pride ourselves in all our products for freshness and a wholesome dependable taste. You must come and have a look and try it all! Braunton spuds, all your root veg, salad, strawberries other fruit and something interesting for a change!
