YOU NEED A BIG LANDING NET!

Rainbow & Brown Trout are stocked all year between 2lb’s and 22lb’s. We produce the biggest trout stocked in a still water in the country. All our trout are farmed at Blakewell, so anglers will be guaranteed razor finned hard fighting trout and PLENTY of them. We charge a fare affordable price for a fine day’s fishing. You will need a BIG landing net.

Careful attention to the keepering of the lake and margins provides a continual variety of fly hatching, encouraging the trout to feed. Huge amounts of Damsels will hatch, flying from yellow iris growing in the shallows. Popular flies used at the Fishery are Pheasant tail nymphs, Buzzers, Hoppers, Daddy Long-legs, Small Gold heads and of course Damsels.
