Fly Fishing
Blakewell trout fishery is a long established mature five acre lake nestled in a beautiful North Devon valley, on the edge of Exmoor. The fishery produces high quality rainbow and brown trout from 2lb upwards. The lake is stream fed, rising on the western side of Exmoor. The water is very clear and offers anglers exciting opportunities to cast to rising trout with dry flies and other patterns. Blakewell fishery is open year round and has a licensed cafe on site. We encourage younger anglers to come and have a go, or share a ticket with their dad. We also offer fly fishing tuition, for groups and individuals.
Come and visit, it is the most beautiful place.
